I want to take the motor from my subaru (front mounted) and swap it with my Porche (mid mounted). Is it possible? How complicated is it? What is required other than time or money?

Answers: Sounds like a charge for someone with a full shop. There will at the very smallest be a lot of welding to do. I'm not sure if you could ever carry the drive train to mate up. 2 different manufactures will be your biggest problem. All though I have see old Datsun 280Z's with Chevy 350's contained by them.
