It's a 2000 Ford Taurus. When I step on the brake to put the car surrounded by gear, the gear shift slides all the agency down to drive but the car does not switch gears. In other words, there's no resistance and the vehicle doesn't feel close to it's switching into gear. Usually I can feel when it switches from P, R, N, D. But in a minute the gear shift just slides between them. Help me!
