Wheel good posture or brake shoes?

I have a 1994 Ford Tempo. It have been making a dragging swish on "one side" of the vehicle on passenger side and smoke has be coming from the passenger side near the tire within the front. It's like a dragging pandemonium but it stops once you pick up speed? Someone said it may be a wheel carriage or maybe brake shoes? How much does pedals bearing runs for one or of late for the front side only? What roughly speaking brake pads? Any other planning on what could cause it. I am going catch it looked at on Monday when they're open.

PS: the peddler I brought it from told me it could be a axle in the tire i.e. causing it but not sure. It's used..

Can you fix a smashed brakelight yourself?

Answers:    could be any the brakes or wheel pose, a wheel attitude will usually run $100 or less on that sports car plus labor and a brake job at midas is $79.95 but if it is your brakes your probably looking at a hot brake caliper and possibly rotors which will increase the price quite a bit, I wouldn't drive the motor unless absolutely prerequisite until you can get it fixed Monday.
