Answers: yeah. first unbolt the gloomy and then positive, next bolt the new one positive consequently negative. if you examine is can you touch the two "stap" ends that bolt to the battery, you should know how to, but i would not recommend it
With your hands? Sure, it's solely 12 volts and isn't likely to shock you, but at hand is no reason to touch the freestyle at all. Most of them enjoy a strap or handle attached to hoist them out of the vehicle once you have the lead off and the hold down removed. If they don't, they hold tools which allow you to lift them.
