Answers: I have several chevy V6's and the individual place I have see them is on the right side of the engine. Now remember on front wheel drive the engine is within sideways... the front of the engine is at the passenger fender so the right side of the engine would be right behind the radiator. The starter should be at the support part of the block where on earth engine connects to the transaxle (transmission) and above the oil vessel obviously.
