Answers: Vans are a little tougher to do because they have little room to work next to. If you are not sure what an alternator looks like, get the spanking new one first so you remove the right part. Disconnect the battery first. Probably own to remove the plastic air intake system to get access. Disconnect the belt(s) . Remove bolts holding the alternator down.Remove the wires on the spinal column of the alternator. I take the wires off later because you can't see the back of it clearly installed in the van. Hope this help.
