Wheres the catalytic converter on 94 civic?

I was looking to regulation my exhaust manifold for unknown headers and i think I saw my catalytic converter built- surrounded by to the manifold. I dont want to buy exotic headers and later find out that i hold to get a buy topical catalytic converter. my question, Is my the cat built surrounded by with the exhaust compound or will i be able to see it if i look underneath my car (i dont enjoy a jack so i cant look under right now) and if it is built contained by is a catalytic converter bolt on or do i have to weld it? (i dont enjoy a welding kit). for a 94 civic vx vtec E

Yes, Honda did for a few years (86-95 if I remember correctly) have the catalytic converter as bit of the exhaust manifold. if you do put headers on your Honda you will involve a new cat. the replacement cat will bolt up to the headers and at hand should be no need to weld it on. if you are competent to locate a complete bolt on system it will save you some change in the long run. Please enjoy a professional exhaust shop install the exhaust system for you. simply for your safety and to guaranty that it is installed correctly. I enjoy seen closely of bolt on systems in my shop that are complete sanctuary hazards, not lone to the driver but the other people doing a tour as well.
