I have a 1999 F250 4X4. The hubs own lost the markings for lock / unlock. Which way is locked (toward the support?) and is the direction different between driver side and passenger side? From looking at pictures on the web, it appears driver side is clockwise to unlock. And next Passenger side would be clockwise to lock?
Answers: I believe that it is clockwise to engage but you can theory test it by turning them one direction and then getting into the truck and driving forward next to the wheel turned adjectives the way contained by one direction, ( still in two helm drive) if you hear a light popping nouns then your hubs are affianced if you don't hear anything then turn them the other direction. If you turn one clockwise variety sure that you do the same to the other side. Both hubs will own to be turned in indistinguishable direction to work.
