Just started the other day. I took it to the shop to get hold of an estimate on a bad O2 sensor and catalitic converter and the subsequent day the lights started flickering. The dashboard say the battery is at 14 volts. Anyone know what's going on?
Answers: could also be one of the diodes surrounded by the diode trio in the alternator going impossible - even with pious voltage, there's still that oscillating current in near that could cause heaver loaded devices to appear as if they are flickering. Most parts stores will exam your alternator for free, even while it's still in your vehicle.
