Why are near 2 brake lines to my backside brakes?

I have a 1989 Lincoln Mark VII and I'm trying to change the rotors and pad on the rear brakes. I have broken my simply pair of clamps trying to compress the cylinder in the caliper, so my subsequent course of action is to just disconnect the article and use a vice to compress it. The only problem is that I noticed that here are two brake lines feeding into it and I'm not sure why.

My motor is losing grease and smells...

i so did that thay scrue contained by use a larg plires in the eadg that sticks out

Can anyone make available support on how...

you may need a special caliper compressor that actually compresses while rotating the piston spinal column in,you may be able to rent it at auto zone or kragens.
