Dont ride the clutch and dont run it hard all the time

Removing The Battery?

Answers:    The worst entry on a clutch is riding it. That is sitting at a stoplight or stopsign using the clutch to hold you still or rocking til you can go. ONLY use to clutch for sitting still with the pedal to the floor and the brake holding the motor. When starting off release slow but quick. Don't hang on to your foot on the pedal, even while riding down the road. When shifting down don't push the gas while using the clutch

Sounds like you were riding your clutch a moment or two too much. When in constant motion don't press the clutch and when at a stop or a light don't "rock" the vehicle or keep it from moving by using the clutch, just use your brake. Or if on a mound if needed use your e-brake, this will still cause wear on your clutch but much less than if you use the clutch to hold on to your car from rolling back.

You own some pretty good answers that I agree with... If you are at a stoplight help yourself to the car out of gear (put in neutral) and hold the brake until pale is green... Don't rest your foot on the clutch pedal when driving. When taking off the more you feather the clutch when letting it out the more wear you are creating... The lone time I ever had my foot on the clutch pedal was when I be moving from a stop or shifting, all other times my foot was away from it and I never have any problems.

Ok..... seriously..... i want to do this!...

in that sgould not be any pressure for an extened time.it's either engaged or not.

can't drive stick?

Forced nouns furnace cause black smoke, rubber...

either you are "riding" the clutch (resting your foot on it while you drive) or you are slipping the clutch 9too much gas and too slow of a release on the pedal)...don't know what type of saloon you could get a "performance" clutch (triple disk) but you'd be dealing with stall speeds and hp coefficents
