Answers:    going back to high academy chemistry,,, your battery works by the chemical reaction of the materials used inside the battery-operated and the acid used.. the materials will start breaking down after a period of time and will not create electric any more when this happen it's time to replace the battery good luck

Your battery is old and requirements to be replaced. You could have something drawing power from the battery. There are frequent reasons.

Starts fine, Idles fine, bogs when gas...

a battery sitting loses one percent of it's charge per sunshine just from sitting. Basically, electrons flow from one side to the other turning your acid into sea. Charging your battery pushes the electrons back to the other side and turns your hose back into acid (its more complicated than that but thats the basics)... I fyou dont charge it to push the electrons support tot he other side, eventually they will fall to the bottom of the battery as slag. If plenty falls to the bottom, there is no more charging and your battery is deceased for life. Also, the plate material inside breaks down near age...
