I need to clutch my car for inspection and the ABS insubstantial is currently on. Is that something that will cause it to go amiss inspection or can I get it through and later repair it afterwards? I'm in NJ if that matter.

Answers: The ABS system is coupled to the engine, transmission and if you hold it SCS (Stability Control System). The engine control system picks up the information from all the other three. I can effect smog output of the engine and hence will probably be a system check dead loss on the smog check for your car.
