I just notice I was supposed to carry my oil changed 3,000 miles ago. My husband usually take care of this, but he's deployed right in a minute and stupid me forgot to check the little sticker on the windshield. Did I damage my engine, or will my vehicle be okay?

Answers: If you read your manual, you will see that automobile manufacturer say you can adapt your oil every 5 to 7.5 K miles and it will be fine. They produce the engine, so I tend to trust them more than oil manufacturer anyway. The oil have certain standards it have to be on par with, and auto manufacturer take that into statement. They just utter every 3k because they make more money that channel. You didn't do any damage to your engine, so don't verbs.
Oh, and don't worry nearly the "female question"....My wife didn't know she have to change the grease....She drove for 40 thousand miles before she figure it out. That was relatively funny (and before we met.)
