I have a 2006 Pontiac Vibe. It have separate amber directional lights and I'm told I need a tail muted converter for the car. BUT.... I own 6 separate lights (3 on each side) on my trailer. Can I simply run respectively sides' directional wires from my car direct to the directional lamp on the trailer and then run the sports car brake lines to the second set of lamps on the trailer and next the car running lights to the 3rd set of lamp on the trailer and do away with the obligation for a convertor ? What kind (how frequent poles) of a connecter would I need ?
Answers: The converter is cheap and no big business. Every Walmart sells them for smaller number than $20, so I recommend using the standard equipment that has be designed for the job.
