I am CAR STUPID! I have an 06 mazda 3 (there is no 6 disk cd changer) If someone is adapted with installing auxilary cable in cars.... im probably going to charge the GROM brand one, from ebay and was wondering if it looks resembling its all i will involve and if its an ok brand..(http://cgi.ebay.com/iPod-Adapter-Digital...
Also Im not sure on how or where the best place is to run the cable through my saloon, I really dont want cables flaccid everywhere and FM transmitters just dont cut it for me! :o)
Answers: miserably there are no aftermarket aux within interfaces for your car. resembling posted above, if you want to keep the factory radio, your simply option is to include a WIRED fm modulator. you won't have alike sound feature that you could have beside an aux in, but its not too unpromising, you won't have the static close to a wireless fm modulator would. it will block out other channels and interference and impart you an FM quality nouns, not cd quality. another prospect is to change out your factory radio for an aftermarket, you could procure made to work with an ipod, that will charge it and control the ipod through the radio, or catch one that just have a standard aux in. hope this help, good luck.
ps: i tried to look at the connection that you posted but the page was down or something. i wouldn't trust anything bad of ebay. if there be a part available for your motor it would be on crutchfield.com
I found the best thing since sliced bread...http://www.crutchfield.com/S-9oDEWuNVIo6...
It's not wireless so there's no interference. Not to be confused next to an FM transmitter. Basically it adds an AUX input to ANY radio.
It feed your audio signal from a headphone jack ( or RCA cables) by FM modulation, directly into the antenna input on your radio bypassing the antenna when on, allowing the radio to work as normal when past its sell-by date. It comes with an On/Off switch.
This is the answer. Totally adaptable.
