My radio just only just went out within my car (see sub. line). The stereo is a Bose video deck/CD combo, stock with the vehicle. The display will show the radio frequency, but act close to the station doesn't exist (doesn't show ST in display). Any planning for a fix? The rest of the console works perfectly (tape deck, power buttons, treble, bass, etc.)
Answers: this is a typical radio problem the tunner own some capacitors that leak after time
radio desires new capacitors and the board wishes to be clean
find a obedient car electronic shop and hold them service the radio
good luck
Pull the stereo and check the antenna connections. It sounds similar to the antenna is loose. If the antenna is plugged in, the FM/AM amplifier could enjoy gone bad.
