i have 2 kicker cvr's which are 400 watts rms 4 ohm dual voice coil
and i currently enjoy them wired in an 8 ohms cuz i have them bridged to my 2 channel amp. i have a u.s. amps xterminator 1600.2 which gives out 1100 watts rms at 4 ohms bridged.
but idk what happen and the terminal for the ground wire melt and messed it up. i sent it to a place that fixes amps to get an estimate and see if it's fixable. but lately in bag it isn't what kind of amp should i go and get?
this amp was a animal and i was really lively with it. it costed me around $260.
so what kinda amp would be righteous to get around that price inventory with indistinguishable if not more power, that would work great next to my set up?
Answers: if you have 2 x 4 ohm DVC subs, you cant seize a 8 ohm load.
i suspect it is a 4 ohm nouns like this...

for a double act of those subs the perfect contest would be a 800 Watt RMS amplifier, more and you are running a risk of blowing the subs, less and economically its not as loud... If you liked your finishing amp why not just get hold of the same piece, it is obviously something you like..

This amp apears to be a bit overpowered though, as you last one be. you mentioned the same or more power but if i get the message you configuration right you would not want to go greater or you would blow the subs.
