2 kicker L5 15's or 2 Alpine TYPE R SWR-15's?

Amp Question!?

I likle the L5's intuitively. I know that 12inch L5's have 600rms so the 15's gotta be cranking some massive power. I dont really like any 15inch sub b/c they tend to distort faster. If I be you, I would go with 2 Kicker L7's. They are extremely loud and will provide you some pretty nice SPL. I'm actually trying to sell my syst4em to buy some L7's. I can carry 2 12's for like 350 for both LOL (Yeah I know I got the hookup). But anyways the Type R's are overated. So heaps ppl have them and think they are the best sub ever made (well they are not) (in my opinion). Go near the Kicker I think you will like them alot better specially if your going for SPL. Just 2 12's L7's and I bet they will hit harder than those 2 Type R 15's. I hope this help l8tr

Will the factory radio from a Cobalt...

The Kickers enjoy more surface area, so they would be louder (if all else be the same).

For SPL - L5's in a ported box, tuned to about 40Hz.

For SQ (sound quality) - TypeR's surrounded by a sealed box.

Either way, craft sure the subs are in boxes recommended by the manufacturer for the specific sub/enclosure (ported or sealed).

What are the best subwoofer?

Answers:    The square deal gives more nouns to be pushed, because the cone has more area, which make louder.

The L5's aren't my choice, I'd buy an L7 instead, but between the two listed it's your call.

They are both really honest brands and make quality stuff.
Seeing they are both 15", you will see a small difference from the Kicker, and it will be slightly louder, square.
