i have a pioneer aftermarket cd deck model 4800 something (last years model 50wx4). lately got a contemporary car though, and it take 6 speakers insted of four. can i still wire 6 speakers into a cd deck (10 including tweeters) and how would i do that?
also for a moment less meaningful but does anyone know the speaker sizes for a 87 jetta?
Answers: Your car probably have a factory aplifier some where surrounded by it as well. If you win the wiring harness from of of the companies that make them such as metra or scoche, all your speakers should work. Some of the newer harness for systems similar to what you are talking going on for require rca connections instead of the normal speaker outputs. it in recent times depends on the car. It may be best to lift your car to a profesional installer to engineer sure you get it done right.
Good luck.
