Alright heres the deal. I hold a pair of Sony SS-MB215 ( http://www.shopping.com/xPF-Sony-SS-MB21... ) that i discarded the tweeters and midbasses 2 (because they no longer worked) so im moved out with the 2 subs, wich are currently within a sub box. wired and ready. and ive get a Altec lansing Vs4121 computer system 2.1 (http://www.alteclansing.com/product_deta... ) and i hooked up the wires from the amp in that * directly from the pay for of original sub, to the sonys. Problem is... Sonys can button up to 140 watts. this is only giving me something like 19 :-P Whats a simple way to beef up the wattage (ie, unexpencive vehicle amp or somthing of that sort) OH and also i belive both subs can handle 140, does that parsimonious i should top out at 280 watts or 140
Answers: ok first off you involve to find out whats the rms watts of each sub for example if the rms is 80 watts next you need a 2 rut amp that runs 160 rms this will give you 80 watts rms to respectively channel thus giving respectively sub 80 watts rms wich is what they need i feel you can get a cheap 200 watts amp for around 40 to 60 dollars but if you dont involve all of that power a short time ago make sure you dont enjoy the gain all the channel up good luck
