Amp for kicker cvr's?

i have 2 12" cvrs at 4 ohm. what amp should i get to get them loud!! right now i have a 800 watt power bass amp and it cuts out. help out please

How to chain sub?

I'm a truist. If you are going to build a system keep everything (within reason) by alike manufacturer. My last system be all Kicker with an Alpine hu. I will other go with an Alpine hu. However you can settle on that certain components don't suit your needs as very well as others. If you decide to go beside Kicker I would suggest ZX850.2, or ZX550.2. Or you could always get a mono amp.

Throw that P.O.S. in the garbage. You will want an amp that will put out at tiniest 600 watts RMS at 4 ohms for those subs. Without knowing the model of that amp, I would say that 800 watt rating is at a 2 or 1 ohm load. Chances are potential that amp is maybe only give or take a few 250 watts or so at 4 ohms.

Pick up a kicker ZX750.1 or something in that power range. Are you subs contained by a sealed or a ported box?

Answers:    I would recommend the Kicker 750.1 to power your 2 CVR's. If your CVR's are 4 ohm, wire them in parallel and run it 2 ohm. I prefer the Kicker mono amps over their stereo amps because they enjoy subsonic filters built in, which comfort protect your subs. You can find Kicker 750.1's in the low $200 range online. Just be sure to use a honest power kit and you should be good to dance. (Kicker makes excellent amp kits ... lead is super flexible.)
