i have two - Kicker 05CVR12-4 Comp VR 12" Component Subwoofer Dual 4 ohm Model 05CVR124 Part No. 05CVR124 and i be wondering if someone could tell me a polite amp for my woofers. 600watts or more
Answers: If you want to stick with kicker, step with the zx850.2
Class A Stereo amp
425 x 2 at 2 ohms. Both subs attain 425 watts, in other words. And those subs are rate for 400 watts RMS. Just don't allow distortion, and the higher power won't be a problem.
Wire respectively individual sub so the voice coils are in parallel, making the equivalent resistance of respectively sub 2ohms, and wire them seperately to respectively channel.
If you hold those subs hooked up at there rms which is 400 watts at 4ohms you might be better bad getting two amps bc to get an amp that will touch 400 watts at 4 ohms for 2 channels very well its not cheap or fun.
Kicker ZX850.4 will do it if it is wired correctly
