i have a 350 watt amp and when we hooked it up surrounded by my friends bronco a red light come on that said protection and never worked..then i hooked it up im my honda tha same item happened.....whats wroung beside it? can it be fixed?!(a)!!

sounds like the amp is blown, did you hook it up right contained by the bronco? some have internal protectors that prevent permanant mar to the amp, but some dont, so if you accidentally hooked something basackwads, you may have tattered internals. did you blow any fuses when you installed it?
