Amp-subwoofer wattage cross-examine?

I'm looking at at dual enclosed subwoofers rate at 50-600watts RMS (2 ohms). Does this mean i can obtain an amp that is 300 or 400 watts RMS at 2 ohms? What would one rate at 750 watts do? Also, what would be the difference between a 300 and 400 watt amp for this subwoofer? I have hear things like wattage doesn't business but i'm not really sure where to apply this principle. Someone also told me i want to be pushing the subwoofers at 70% or more if the gamut is given (50-600), so would the bass be weak beside 400 watts?

Thanks in finance, sorry for all the question.

Can an expensive nouns system mess up...

Amp and subwoofer relief?

Answers:    The bass would be more than ample at the full 400 (or even 300) watts. A 750 will work fine also until you (or someone else) cranks it up past the 600 watts you speakers are rate for. It will only pilfer a second (or less) and they will fry!
