Will this sports car audio system work?
i'm not a fan of Clarion. they used to variety some ok stuff, but it seems to me like they've gone downhill.
JL make awesome stuff. however, there expensive. if you can find used JL for a used price, hop on it.

Yeah JBL is awsome,but i own Bose saround sound in my Trans Am and man them sukers preserve,i also have a set of 12" wolfers enclosed run near a 600 watt amp,you can here me a mile away,Clarion is a big name though so after you install them get what i get,dam brother you want to pound holly ker ***,you'll sh!t,you don't even have to win top of the line speakers,especially if you want base.

clarion's are not impossible but JL Audio is an industry leader I would choose them over clarion anyday

Answers: I'm with everybody else on this one. JL rocks hard core. I own 2 JLW3v3's running on a kicker 450.2
The 12" W3's are $250 each, but if price is an issue go for the W1's They are also incredible subs, great Spl and xmax.
You can pick up a 12" W1 for more or less $120-140, and trust me they will play harder and clearer than any clarion sub.
Trust us, save your money if you can't afford something good, its better to retrieve up and get quality, than to underground cave in and buy something crappy and regret it.
