They look decent in black and white. But, has anyone in actuality heard them?
well, i aversion to disagree with sparky (i usually agree) but dissertation can be manipulated to look worthy even for a crapy product, and in enhancement there are no law protecting the consumer. I have see specs that to the casual eyewitness seem fine, but when you study them you can see they are a crock.. for example a frequency response, i enjoy seen things approaching 20-500hz for a sub down to 20 is good, when i look closer in that is fine print that says +/- 10db.. thats a signifiacant drop, so its really not gonna hit that low..Unless you really know what to look for they can confidently mislead you....
With all that said i hold seen and hear Insignia, and they are the budget stuff at the buget stores, just above flea bazaar quality.. they do o.k. but not in the neighbourhood what the specs would at first glance suggest.
I'd recomend looking at the interconnect below, Woofers ect. has a insane Dutch auction going on for mb quart, all sizes ar 99 bucks even the 15 (if that your thing)

Usually if it looks apt on paper, it's honest in unadulterated life as the weekly is a representation of what's expected.
Be sure to put the sub in the right barred enclosure.

Answers: Not really, at adjectives.
Check into; Infinity, TC Sounds, MB Quart, JL, JBL, Kicker, MTX, Polk/Momo, RE, Fi, Boston Acoustics, Alpine, Soundstream, or even Pioneer(Premier).
You can usually find KickerCompVR's on sale buy one go and get one free at BestBuy or CircuitCity. 2 12's for $149? -Not bad.
Have Fun!
