Bigger alpine amp?

ok i have 2 12 alpine type e subs near a 350 alpine v power amp hook up to them, should i upgrade to a 1000 watts alpine amp mono class d or not, will it sound better or it do you consider it will blow it

How do you remove a stock cd...

Answers:    you must be talking just about the Alpine mrd m1005 700 watts (a) 4 ohms and 1000 (a) 2 ohms....that amp is too powerful for the type Es you dont want to have to preserve it turned way low a moment ago to keep from blowing them...instead rob a look at this one......http://cgi.ebay.com/ALPINE-MRP-M650-Mono...
this would be an excellent match and not lone that......if you get a third sub or more powerful ones then (like the type r) this amp can be bridged to 1000 watts at a 4 ohm load......make me wish i would hold bought this one instead dammit!
im actually running two Type Rs bad a 1000 watt alpine mono and ive had to vertebrae up the gain becuase they were getting too hot........other be very punctilious about exceeding the RMS confines of subs...those 2 type Es will only toy with 500 together before heat up so even the amp i suggested can overpower them so be careful...........and sparkys right...the view that underpowering a sub will destroy it is plain idiocy and the most efficient track to ruin a sub is by putting more watts into it than it was designed to pedal....if you even put 900 watts into a 1000 watt peak sub it will at best suffer voice coil lay waste to but probably just fry altogether because thr RMS (THERMAL LIMIT) would be around 500 watts max

I get a couple of subwoofers for...

the more power the better! but if you hear distortion OR the voice coils of the subs slapping against the vertebrae plate -turn it down. MOST OF THE TIME speakers get destroyed (blown) because they are below powered...if the amp is too small, begins to distort and sends the distortion into the speakers....the speakers blow because they cannot reproduce distortion powerfully...distortion is basically clipped breakers (or squared waves) speakers are designed to play sine type waves (smooth curve waves)
