Blaupunkt Problems?

I have lately put a Blaupunkt 520 CD player surrounded by a Holden Astra ...
I have the code but the eyeshade does not ask for it.
When you turn the car on, the lights come on the panel to show in attendance is power running to it, but never asks me to input the security code and consequently produces no sound... Any accepted wisdom?

My Holden Manaro GT contained by the USA we Call them Pontiac GTO'S came next to the 6 disk changer and looking at the shop manual I could not come up beside a cure for your CD error. Most the time it is something well repaired at the German repair center but costly to ship it there and hindmost. And probably built in Jakarta
