I currently have 2 12 inch kicker cvr's and a 600 watt amp, it hits frozen but i want more, would it be worth it to buy another 600 watt soundstream amp the subs can handle 800 watts respectively so would powering each one next to a 600 watt amp make my system significantly louder?
Answers: if you remove one sub from that amp you will redeploy the ohm load on that amp and might single get partly the power so be sure to re-wire the subs for the lower ohm load to draw from the full benefit out of the amp
It takes double the power merely to get a 3 dB gain surrounded by volume. This is why competition gets so expensive.
