I was thinking roughly buying either a 12" kicker solo-x or and 18" kicker solo-x, and i enjoy two amps, a 1500 watt kicker, and 1200 watt rockford...is it possible to hook both of my amps to the one sub untill i can get the money to buy a big plenty amp?
Answers: yes you can use both to power that sub but the thing is its not going to power that sub at adjectives. reason is both the 12" and 18" stipulation atleast 5000 watts rms. so i would save my money and not buy the solo-x until you hold the money to buy the appropriate amp also. if you do wire those 2 amps to any sub then trade name sure that the amps are 1 ohm stable.
Yes you can, but it isn't the smartest thing to do unless you hold it done professionally. With your 1500 watt, it should be more than enough to power and craft the sound you want.
