I just get a scion tc and was wondering if you could hook up a sub amp to the stock deck. The model number is a Pioneer T1808
Answers: You can hook any amp up to any amplified stock deck. If your amp doesn't enjoy a built in High-Low converter, than you requirement to pick one up from your local stereo store. All you have to do is stroke the correct wires on the High-Low converter into the correct speaker wires. Now this isn't going to give you competition horizontal sound, but it get the job done. I run my amp and subs in my Mazda for 3 years this method, never had a complaint.
yes if your stereo have outputs in the wager on then yes except then you can buy a string inverter that connects to your speaker lines and it has rca out puts so you can connecte them to your amp you can acquire them at any audio shop or even at walmart a pretty good one cost close to 30 to 60 dollars a really good one approaching 100 to 150
