Car audio problems?

I just installed a Jensen vehicle CD player within my car. I hold a 1995 Honda Accord. I relpaced the factory radio with this one. anyways, I have no problem connecting the correct wires from the car to the compact disc player cuz I had the info of the color of the wires. So I connected the speaker wires, the ground, the power and so on and so forth...the article is, I had one extra line from the car which be the"illumination" wire. I have no extra wire from the disc player to connect it to so i connected it to the "Power/Yellow" wire. Now my parking lights wont turn stale even if i have the vehicle off. I tried connecting the "illumination" telecommunication to every wire on the compact disc player and either my parking lights wont turn rotten or they wont turn on...does anyone have any direction?

The illumaniton line is for a relay built into the factory unit to dim the display when the lights are turned on, and enjoy variable brightness controlled by the the soup?on dimmer.
Some after market radios hold a Illumaninton wire surrounded by the wirehareness, some do not, and they are an orange rope. If the aftermarket radio does not have it, newly cap that flex off and set off it.

Answers:    the illumination cable is a live wire, connecting it to any cable could short out you car, or it could drain you battery-operated. if the wire is impracticable in the instillation boater it off and don't use it. I'm more habituated American cars, but some wires are always live similar to the 12v adapter called a cigarette lighter.
