What is more important on a car audio system. The point of the amp or the quality of the subs. i am wondering because i am gonna get one authentic good component, and one middle class component. Plz dont say they both r, i twig that for an amazing system they both should be high quality.
Lol, Sorry to voice but they both are, one is incomplete without the other. You should go for something you can afford realistically to pull off balance. A great sub won't do you any good lacking an equally good amp and vice/versa.

Ive hear a Rockford Fosgate OLDSCHOOL punch 100 dsm pushing a pair of "Thump" audio once and "duel/dual "audio(walmart)another.They both sounded suprisingly pretty good.The bass wasnt so much as loud,but crisp/tight.Seemed no filling at all.If you know car audio,you can kinda enlighten when an amp is struggling...sounds like the bass is slightly off next to the mids/highs.I know it sounds weird,but trust me you will see...Now lets reverse them.2 jl audio w6 person powered by a jensen amp...sounded like poo.
In case you didnt know,Rockford be the leader in nouns quality and raw power subsidise then.They used to be american product made with american parts.Now for some God alful root, they are made in china with china parts)

The point is that itSounded great in every situation.Why?because the amp doesnt struggle giving power.Or anything scientific freakin reason.Get a feature amp,Feed it to some shi tty subs and let it roll.Doesnt really matter at this point,because you will ALWAYS want better.
