Car stereo?

i just get a pioneer 750 watt amp and 800 watt sub.....its all hooked up correct but when i turn my cd player up more than in the middle the sub turns off....does anyone know why this is taking place.

What is a perfect , massively loud...

Answers:    The sub doesn't demand more power because of a smaller amp. A drop within ohms is the ONLY thing that will constraint more power.

Just be sure the gain is set right.

The purpose of the gain is to match the signal volts RMS coming from the source (CD player, etc.) to the input of the amp.

Here is a guide that will support you set the gain correctly http://www.datafilehost.com/download.php...

You'll need a multi-meter (AC voltmeter), Microsoft Excel and a process to burn an audio CD from an MP3.

If you don't own Excel, e-mail me and I'll send you a condensed edition sparky3489(a)YAH00.com

This site http://www.subwoofertools.com/forum/setg... will also do the same.
