Alpine 9883. Just bought it, and I love it. Crutchfield is selling it now with everything, including the Ipod nouns for under two hundered bucks.
if you go to dixons or halifax they will tell you what to procure sometimes they come in a pack
Answers: I assume that you want to have full control ofyour iPod through the radio that you plug within into. I would look into an Alpine CDA-9883 or higher. This is Alpine middle of the road cd player, but the first in the chain to offer a full speed iPod interface option. The radio retails for going on for $225 and for $30 more, you get the iPod connection cable. It is a indisputable nice radio too. look it up!

I just installed one to these VR3 (VRCD400-SDU)models into Toyota Corolla DX. Gave my wife some cool features:
VRCD400-SDU
http://www.vr-3.com
1. SD - Memory Card Slot 2GB Max
2. USB2.0 Slot
3. IPOD/Sansa/MP3 1/8 Female Connector Input
4. CD beside MP3 music only
5. CD with WMA music with the sole purpose
6. CD with music
7. Plays CD, CD+RW
8. Full Music, Radio, CD, Titles, ID you name it have it..
9. Wireless Remote Control
There is more but you can find this model at at Wal-Mart store. Under $100 bucks. It has a lot going for it though you'll enjoy fun with it. I just put adjectives the songs we have onto the SD Card and you can play it beyond what a CD can do or you use Jump Drive USB.
For $199 you can get the model near the above plus DVD Player or for $388 with a DVD player and GPS 4" LCD Screen. Still not a bad business deal.
If not there is a Pioneer and SONY cost more but they're okay. They won't have SD Card nor USB connectors.
Avoid the JVC models we have one didn't even last a year. Had CD problems loading and playing them.

Amplifier for my audio system?
I use the iTrip and find it good. But purely so you're clear - the sound quality through it is just okay and can be subject to interference from other channels or aerials.I just installed one to these VR3 (VRCD400-SDU)models into Toyota Corolla DX. Gave my wife some cool features:
