First off this is the sub(s) I'm looking at.... http://www.overstock.com/Electronics/Ken...
I'm uncooperatively not to familiar near subwoofers and things like that. My request for information is what should I look for in an amplifier? Also, are nearby any other additives I should look for as well?
Besides the amplifier, is in attendance a certain sub woofer box i should look into as very well?
Answers: that sub isnt all that great. if i be you i'd step it up to this Kenwood Excelon subwoofer.

for just $30 more, its more later worth it. whats the differnce? it sounds a lot better, and hits like mad harder. its a good subwoofer. also you'll necessitate a smaller amp to power it. which saves you money.
the amp you want for it is a CEA certified, that process the amp isnt junk, that puts out 300 watts x1 at 2 ohms. i recomend this amp

and you can use it for the sub your looking at, or the one i recomended.
as far as a box go you want your box to match your sub. explanation each sub have differnt box specs. Kenwood will give you the box specs for both a hermetically sealed and ported box. the sealed will nouns better, but wont hit as hard. and the ported wont nouns as good, but hit harder. nearby are differnt specs for both.
good luck
You are going to requirement a BIG amp! Depending on what you are going to put these in, that could determine your box size. Just remember, small hermetic box will sound crisper and cleaner than a big ported box. As for tag on on, you will probably need a capacitor. They will give support to you keep your headlights from dimming when the bass hits on that big aplifier you are going to own to buy. Look like nice subs, Good luck!
