Cd player install?

i am installing a cd player in a ford f150 1997 truck. i don't know the electric wiring diagram. 2 connectors where bringing up the rear the oem radio. if anyone knows the power,ground,ignition etc, please explain to me the colors. thanks alot

Answers: you shouldnt have need of a wiring diagram for this type of mission. just shift to wal mart or any electronics store except radio shack and pick up a "wiring harness" that fits your year, produce, and model. it will just plug right into those 2 connectors trailing the oem. then the wires on the other finishing will match ultimate color for color to your cd player youre installing

go to your local audio shop and buy a electrics harness it's under 11 dollars it will give support to you out and is easier this way adjectives you do is pair up the colors from the harness to your stereo and purely plug it in to your factory plug

also if you are shifting the factory stereo for a new aftermarket stereo you might call for a dash paraphernalia so get that too
