I believe that the JL audio 13w7 are one of the best subs in the USA today they got great sounds, bass, and they are great speakers
Answers: both are excellent woofers. the Diamonds will probably be a little louder, but the JLs will probably nouns a little better. however, both are really great woofers, and you cant go wrong beside either choice.
here is a review on both woofers, and 4 more. its back from 05, but its a well brought-up review. i personally dont agree with the results that the w7 sounds better later the IDMAXX and the D9, but its just the reviewers opinion.

x2 on what M V said. Hands down JL makes great products, but they are freaking ridiculous on their prices, the D9's are great and reasonably priced.
