i have 2 alpine type r 6x9 coaxial speakers. you can check em here - http://www.alpine-usa.com/US-en/products...
do they have built contained by cross over and how can i access it becuase they arnt playin any of the highs, the mids or the woofer i guess its caled plas lows well but i ca bring back anything from tweeter. any help is appreciated
the link u gave didnt sent me to a flawless page. as for your 6x9 coaxial speakers the crossover could be built into the speakers themselves if they have one, in which valise you cant really do anything. but if theres a crossover its much more likely that it is an external one that you can connect all the wires too. If you arent getting perfect quality music playing through your speakers then perchance you arent getting a good quality signal. or perchance u need an amp to send a more powerful signal. if thats not it next I think u may have a electrics problem. if the tweeter isn't playing at all then you dont hold it wired to anything or it is blown.
Answers: if you have this speaker hooked up to bass blocker that could be the problem because sometimes bass blockers if truth be told do the opposite and block highs but if you don't own them then another thing it might be if you hold them hooked up to an amp you might have an low pass filter on one and only letting low frequency going to the speaker and if you dont have them hooked up to an amp and just a cd player you might want to check the eq perchance you have the highs down or also an low slip away filter on there on and if none of these apply to you then the speaker is probably impossible and i would take it back to be you got it or send it spinal column what ever
