1 2400 watt 12" subwoofer in a 2.4 cubic foot ported box and i calculated how big the port should be and it come up to 2 2.7" ports does that sound right? also be exactly should i put the ports i know they go on equal side that the subwoofer is on but would having the 2 ports roughly 5 inches apart from eachother on the side of the subwoofer be alright?

For port placements, use the diameter of the port as the minimum distance from:
1) port to woofer,
2) port to any wall,
3) bottom of port to different wall.
