i have 2 fi audio btl subs. 2000 rms watts a piece. So I need an amp near at least 4000 rms watage. The only piece is the Rockford Fosgate T40001BD is $1100. Does anyone know where I can find the amp cheaper? or find 2 amps for a cheaper price without sacrifice sound quality OR USEING A CHEAP AMP if i own to i will stick with this amp im not going to give up easier said than done bass for some CHEAP amp thatS CRAP. for all you that keep unfolding me fi btl 18 inch subs cant take 2000rms watts step ya game up and stop buyin k-mart wal-mart subs
yea dude.. greatly of people say that nouns storm amps are bad, but I have a 4000watt amp on my solox and it pushes it really devout. so sound storm is a off brand dub, but its really good.. it was 200bucks spanking new... or hifonics is good and that's a brand name one.

Answers: WOW, dont listen to 90% of the population on here man, you will screw yourself. 1) Hifonics are crap. They pull way to much current. 2) RF build some of the highest rated amps, of which the world SPL is currently using and ably as the world SQ champ so get a clue for the person who bash their amps. US amps are good, but to run a BTL your gonna spend WAYYYYY over 1100 to push 1. Honestly, go onto FI's website and shift onto their forum. Talk to Shawn, he should be able to hook you up. I got 4 T4001BDs at $500 respectively, all used for only 10 min surrounded by one show, all still contained the full warranty being that RF is one of his sponsors and allows him to get rid of their stuff. As for those who tell you it cant take 2k watts RMS, as I necessarily pointed out, I have 4 18's and each is run by a T40001, so 4k watts RMS to respectively sub.and that is a daily driver. So they are nothin more than haters. Steve Meade run an 18" FI BTL fully loaded off of 10K WATTS RMS FOR OVER 15 MIN STRAIGHT AT FULL TILT!! It got reheat, but did not blow. Other great amp brands you could check out are Kicker (the 2500 is nice for each BTL), Sundown (also on FI's forum) has some GREAT amps as okay.
Lastly, RE and FI are completly different, dont even try to compare them. They are built for different purposes. Scott (owner of FI) also used to own RE till they became corporate sellouts and jacked their prices up.
