Hi I recently bought dual illuminite speakers and am trying to catch the lighting part to work. I be wondering if there be a way to hook them up to my headlights so when i turn the switch to put them on, the speaker lights dance on as well. I am not extremely good next to this kind of stuff so best abet would be appreciated.
If you can help me consent to me know. Thanks.
Answers: The lighting part should be wired as a separate circuit from the audio electrical system.
You can run a wire (Fuse it! Fuse it! Fuse it!-I cannot make more noticeable this enough! Car fires suck!) from both speaker lights to the parking oil lamp wire of a front parking wishy-washy or rear taillight so that the lights will come on when you turn on your car's lights. You can also connect to the fuse for the parking lights or panel lights at the fuse block and next run a common ground rope from each speaker neutral to any accessible metal ground.
