I was going to purchase orange el telecommunication for my car, but i had a few question i had to be sure of: The web-page said it could be cut to any length, and can be used from the cut side too, my question is how do i hook up the 2 sides of the el lead? Please, serious answeres only!
I do not believe that EL wire can be spliced together and that the cut stale piece cannot be used.

Answers: It comes with one side wired up to the transformer, and you can cut the other conclude to the length you need. The longer the length, the dimmer the wire. The shorter, the brighter.. but it burns out quicker.
Get it from ebay.. it is alot cheaper. I a moment ago bought 20' (2x5' sections, and one 10' section) I think it be around $10 plus shipping.
