i own a 2000 cadilac catera n i was wondering if ne nos if theres away i could remove the factory cd play n install my own i hear that cadilac have somthing/is making something that will make it possible to do have ne1 heard nething else just about it?
Answers: yeah if you want to do it your self then walk to any audio shop and ask them to sell you a plunge kit you endow with them the make model and year also to provide you a wiring harness shood come out to be around 20 dollars but the career kit you assemble it and your competent to put a regular stereo in unless you want to draw from a double din if not next your ok and the wirering harness is so that you can just plug surrounded by the harness to your cars harness and you wont have to cut any wires it make things easier all you do is game the colors from the harness to your stereo good luck
