Let me start off by saying I am genus of new to this. I know what I want in nouns but I have no idea as to what to put contained by my car that will give me right sound. I don’t want to end up running out to Walmart buying a bunch of stuff that I’ll bring to a close up replacing soon after. All because I didn’t know what the hell I was doing. So I come here in hopes that I will find some virtuous advice on buying some good parts. Below you will find what it is that I’m looking for surrounded by a system. I have a friend that can install everything for me, but I would really like you guys recommend on what to buy. I’m more a sound quality guy. I listen to mostly rap music. Car type is a mid sized sedan and I hold a 500-600 without shipping budget.
Sub(s)
what I want in a sub(s) is something that will impart me clean and powerful base. The number of subs doesn’t thing to me. One or two, size doesn’t matter. What I’m looking for is clean powerful bed. I’m not trying to set off any car alarms
Head Unit
I enjoy an Ipod so I would like a head part that has Ipod control built into the deck. I would like to be capable of control the Ipod with the unit’s remote.
Speakers
I would really like to hold a good set of component speakers. I hear that you get better nouns with 2 good component speakers next having two sets of normal speakers.
Box
Ported or hermetic. Not to sure on this one. I guess which ever kind is best for rap music. I’m no good at working near tools so I guess you can throw making your own out the window lol

Answers: You may have to spend a few hundred more to get the crisp nouns you want but heres what I can give for information. I've been building systems surrounded by my own car, and learned that its other good to look around for deals, and the more you know the better you can find. First, your lead unit. Try an alpine, like this one http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?... you can buy the cord for the ipod for 20 more bucks, so theres 200. You can gain a budget set up for subs and an amp of about 400 watts and two 10"s maybe something similar to this http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Product/I... that is 400 bucks total. Theres your 6x8 or 6x9 speakers, your regulars in your vehicle which pioneer or kenwood both work great, you can hook them up to the head unit, because theres power coming from it as very well. that will leave you about 75-125 for instilation equiptment, wires, and miscellaneous other lil stuff. Crutchfield is the best to order from because they offer assistance over the phone adjectives the time, you need ne more help pm me. Hope this help you
