Ok im new here but i am really confused about my system right presently and need some help. First stale i have 2 12" DVC 4ohm Type R's and a HiFonics Zeus ZXI1006 amp. The subs are 500w RMS adn the amps ratings are -
2 x 250-Watts RMS (a) 4-Ohms
2 x 500-Watts RMS (a) 2-Ohms
1 x 1000-Watts RMS (a) 4-Ohms
Before this i had one Type R powered by a mono rockford amp and it sounded flawless i just wanted more..so i get in my new amp sub and box and hooked it adjectives up. They work..but barely. They seem to be not getting adequate power...and i think its a wiring problem.
Right presently they are wired like this

im kind of confused in the region of the wiring from my HU though...i have a JVC HD-G430..it doesnt enjoy a sub preamp output but you can change it to subwoofer mode and they come out the "rear" outputs for my preamp options. The outputs on my HU for the reverse have a L and R but then my amp just has 2 rca jacks..one for Ch1 and one for Ch2. right now i only just have them going from the L and R jacks to the Ch1 and Ch2 jacks in my amp. is this right or not?
any oblige would be greatly appreciated...anything about the wiring from my HU to my amp especially because thats where on earth i am really confused. Thanks.

When you bridge the amp, the R and L may be summed together. Leave it the way you own it.
