I installed my stereo in my truck. Worked fine for a couple months until not long there be static coming out, and the sound would occassionallyshutoff departing me with just bass coming through the amp to the subs. I took my deck out to see if maybe in attendance was a loose chain, rechecked all my connections and it started working smoothly. As I be putting it back into the slot, adjectives power shut off completely. I rechecked the power cable, the ground, the remote turn on cable, the fuse contained by the deck, nothing be misconnected or blown. I need facilitate, this is frustrating me. I figure near should be no reason why it wouldn't at lowest possible power up. The weird entity is the amp isn't even turning on. Anyone else ever have an issue close to this/know what might be causing this? My deck is a Panasonic CQ-C1305U. It's one and only a couple months old. HELP!!
A couple of things come to mind.
One behine your head deck clear sure your rca's are taped up seperatly so that the metal where on earth you join them cant touch any other metal cause a short
make sure any speaker wires etc that arent contained by use off your director deck are taped up also.
ok... my first thing to check would be the amp---using a short piece of naked wire, put one come to an end on the positive clamp, and the other end on the remote input, when you do this, the amp should turn on, and because the rest of the system is bad, there should not be any type of nouns coming through any of the speakers, if there is any static, your amp have a problem.
that is how to check your amp
immediately your reciever, assuming that you have checked adjectives of the fuses, lets verbs to the next plan of attack. purloin out your radio and attach it directly to the battery the red and pale wires will need to be tied together and contact the positive terminal, and the black lead needs to contact the denial terminal.
now i am not as familiarized with panasonic radios, i am more of a pioneer guy(at least possible for head units) so, beside that in mind, piuoneer does this entry where, after it is connected for the first time, you must turn on the power to it and consequently press the source button to turn the radio on, it is a little wierd but to be exact how pioneers work, maybe this help maybe it don't.
if your radio hasn't turned on when connected directly to the mobile, first, check the fuse on the back of the reciever, usually by the electric wiring harness input. if that is suitable, I would have to say-so that you have a impossible radio, since it is only a few months antediluvian, you should be able to bring it support and get a modern one
one last allusion, check for a pinched rca cable, i had a 900 watt system contained by my last sports car and i had layed the rca cable contained by the door sill panel and accidentally crushed the rca cable putting the trim panel back on--I other made sure not to hit those cables next to screws , but this one accually get pinched by the plastic surounding the screw. that problem ended up costing me 2 amps and a blown sub out on a reciever.
