Does anyone know if 0,1,2, or 3 guage wire will work beside this amp?

If not, what guage wire will work?

What is the difference between 4ohms and...

This depends on how you run it

RMS Power (4 ohms) 550 watts x 1 focus
RMS Power (2 ohms) 1100 watts x 1 channel
RMS Power (1 ohm) 1600 watts x 1 guide

You can never go wrong near 0/1 AWG wire.

If your total system power is 1000 watts RMS or more, you will call for to:

1. Upgrade the alternator to a high output alternator
2. Upgrade to a filling duty deep cycle mobile
3. Upgrade the "Big 3" - that is to replace the power lead between the battery and alternator, the ground from the mobile to the chassis and the ground strap from the engine/tranny to the chassis with at lowest 1/0 AWG wire.

Failure to do this will result within you replacing them anyway as the alternator will eventually fail.
