How do I take low punchy bass from my subs?

I have two Polk Audio Sr124 subs and I have them in a small hermetic enclosure. I really similar to how clean they sounded but I want louder. I want it to hit really not easy and be really loud. I was thinking a ported box near a low tuning frequencey but I dont really know.

Answers: make sure that they are within a box built to their specs., ported or sealed. if you choose to maintain the ported box, the bass will be tighter and more responsive.

if you choose the ported box, you'll get more SPL which will result surrounded by what you're looking for BUT not all subs are designed to work surrounded by a ported box. you can damage them if they're not designed for a ported box and you put them contained by there anyway, so build sure if you decide to.

also, trademark sure the amp is delivering as close to the subs RMS as possible.

Speaker size (front) for Volkswagen Polo 2000-2002...

sort sure that the box is the right size for the subs. if that still doesnt work put them in a ported box and a short time ago have it tuned to a low frequency
